What This Mod Does
This mod replaces and expands the Skyrim food system using 250+ photoscanned food models.
Min polycount < 300
Max polycount 4 000+
Average ~2-2.5k
High poly but reasonable. Polycount reduction is planned for future updates.
Expanded Food Categories
The mod currently expands the following food categories. More will be added in future updates:
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Meat
- Bakery
- Cereals
- Ingredients
World Integration
New items can be found in containers, in the world, in vendor inventories and on plants. New recipes have also been added. The price and availability of some food items will depend on the region, the weather, the faction and access to commercial roads.
Skyrim Food Expansion comes with a suite of new icons designed for use with Constructible Object Custom Keyword System and Inventory Interface Information Injector. The mod will still function without these, so they are considered soft requirements.

Installation
Download and install the mod like any regular mod. Make sure it wins every conflict in order to work as intended. Sorting the plugin using LOOT (if using the BOS version) should be fine.
Compatibility
Any mod that modifies the same food meshes is incompatible.

No other incompatibilities known yet. Let me know in the comments if you find some so I can provide patches.
