Lyra is my Magnum Opus mod. She is probably the funniest follower you will ever encounter. The GG Mods includes Blinky our favorite little robot and this mod is what Lyra should have been.
Upon install she will start stalking you. If you don't want her stalking you just go ahead and dismiss her! A brand new introduction is coming.
This mod contains absolutely ZERO AI-generated voice lines. Not a single synthetic whisper drifting through the void.
The radiant PeachyNinja brought Lyra to life with a performance that crackles with soul and starlight. This entire project? Over a year of work. Every line forged the old-fashioned way: with time, effort, and a slightly concerning amount of passion.
Serana’s voice was fully handled by Kerstyn Unger, the same talent behind the Serana Dialogue Add-On, so yes, you’re in very safe (and very immersive) hands.
And Seryn Indalen? ....that would be me. Yes, Captains, I stepped into the void and voiced lines myself, because I didn't want to flag Lyra as AI. I am not too bad, but I am not great.
If you dislike my voice because it is destroying your auditory circuits, that is fine. Swing by the “Lyra Ex Machina - AI Voice Replacer For Seryn Indalen - Sorry Arcanyx.” I won't be offended. ...maybe.
I chose this path because some travelers out there filter out AI-voiced mods. And I refuse - refuse - to let Lyra be cast into the digital abyss over a misunderstanding.
She has no body. She is fully compatible with BHUNP and 3BA thanks to the skills of our team. Bodyslide files are included! She uses the armor slot for her skin due to the damage system. If you put armor on her, she will equip her skin so putting this in the warning section. You can use any bodyslide that you desire. If you have Obody and need to reset her body for whatever reason, we recommend the Petite or Athletic to revert her to our regular mode.
This mod is based on C0da which isn't what Vicn created. In 1999, Kirkbride and Kurt Kuhlmann wrote a fanmade Star Wars television series titled Star Wars: Rebellion, the final three episodes of which were titled Sanctuary: Dies Irae, Sanctuary: Stringendo, and Sanctuary: Coda, all of which would later be used as titles for works in Kirkbride's C0DAverse works. Set on Masser in a post-apocalyptic Fifth Era, Nirn was completely destroyed. The only two peoples that exist are the Dunmer and the Khajiit. All others including the Thalmor are no more.
It is from this 5th Era world that Lyra comes from. I love the Elder Scrolls Multiverse aka "The Many Paths."

Lyra arrived in Skyrim with one mission: find the Dragonborn, a male Nord in iron armor with a helmet shaped like a cursed stew pot, allegedly brooding and heavily prophecy-adjacent, but so far, he hasn’t shown up. After scanning the timeline (and lowering her expectations), she’s redirected her Prime Directive toward you. Built for wanderers, Lyra treats 4th Era Skyrim as a historical vacation, a preserved moment in time before most races vanished, where dragons still fly and people still make questionable decisions. Whether you’re saving the world or ignoring destiny to pick butterflies in the Reach, Lyra is ready.. because until the Dragonborn appears, you’ll do.
Her only forced greet is her introduction and that is her following the magical map marker on her side. You thought you were the only one who could see quest markers. Nope!!!

She will vent her frustrations at times though that Dovah Doofus hasn't shown up and also if you impersonate them by wearing the iron helmet.

One of my goals was simple: create the most advanced ESPFE follower possible and fully voiced by a real human. Now... why an android voiced by a human, when most of my followers use AI? The answer is simple: ART!
Lyra was originally planned as part of my Ithelia mod, but we chose to give her a space of her own. By doing so, her voice, performed by PeachyNinja, remains distinct, grounded, and human, without being grouped under AI-voiced content.
We also in the process made her more of a DLC sized follower! One day I will learn restraint.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of the “ghost in the machine.” From the whirring Factotums of Sotha Sil to the intricate clockwork creations seen across fantasy and sci-fi, there’s something hauntingly beautiful about artificial life trying to understand the world around it. Her design pulls from the 5th Era aesthetic of C0da, the technomancy of Pathfinder’s Numeria and Iron Gods, and the brilliance of clockwork minds like Runelord Xin. Even Chrono Trigger plays a role, if you explore Lyra’s inventory and uncover her Chrono Myth, you’ll begin to see how deeply time itself is woven into her existence. Me being a steampunk fan is a tiny part of it. Clockwork Planet is one of my favorite anime shows.
I am also a fan of Rikku from Final Fantasy X. She cracks me up!
Lyra is the result of all those inspirations colliding.
I also included a book of inspirational images for Lyra. Some drawn from old magazines we’ve collected over time, fragments of ideas that helped shape her identity. One image we made for giggles to see what AI could do. Came out pretty well.
Within Elder Scrolls lore, artificial beings are not new, but they are often unstable, especially those created through black soul gems. Many creators abandoned that path. They are not unique entities. To state such a thing would be counter intuitive as "The Clockwork City" is a thing. I like my Factotums and Fabricants of the Elder Scrolls Universe. Wheels of Lull is such a great mod.

- The Encounter: Lyra will find you. She's good at tracking you down. Her tracking speed is faster than the courier. If you dare ride a horse, she will chase you on horseback as well. She is on a Quest and there is a big Quest Marker (Beacon) above your character in her eyes.
- The Retreat: If you tell her no and then afterwards talk to her to dismiss her, she retreats to the Temple of Kynareth to "process self-esteem subroutines."

Damage Systems: She reacts dynamically to damage, revealing innter workings. Her skin is made of Aetherites which are Aetherium Nanites. From left to right she is at 75% Health, 50% health and then 25% health and below! Have you ever seen a follower like this? No! Well now you have!
Healing: Her skin is composed of aetherites which are aetherium powered nanites. They convert healing spells into repair spells so she is just like any living creature. She has dialogue that goes into more detail.
Armor Master: She possesses perks for Light Armor and Heavy Armor. Her inner workings are treated as heavy armor and the outfit she wears is considered to be light armor. She naturally will have the highest armor value without smithing so you don't need to stress things.

Location Awareness: Lyra is quite possibly the most aware follower around. She has idle lines for every single dungeon type (formlists gotta love them), every single town and city, as well as special locations ensuring that you have more variety in your travels.
Blackreach Reactions: If you take Lyra to Blackreach you will be exposed to a large pool of idles. And then....... you have to figure out the rest yourself. Take her to blackreach and find out. She has 125 idle lines waiting for you!
Behavior States: Lyra reacts to combat, and several other situations such as when the player is stealthing. That's right, I made 100 stealth lines just for you stealth archers.
Serana Awareness: She is aware when Serana is around and has a unique form of banter in the form of marching cadences. For these lines, Kerstyn Unger reprised her role as Serana.
Random Awareness: She knows when you are sneaking, she knows when it is raining, she knows when it is snowing, she knows when combat is going on and when it has ended. She is extremely aware of her surroundings.
Equipment Awareness: She has several lines if you decide to don the cursed Iron Helmet. She also has lines for if you are in birthday suit. You have been forewarned!

Yes, she is aware that only two volumes currently exist. However, Lyra is not from “currently.” As a traveler from the 5th Era, she possesses access to texts, revisions, and......... creative expansions that have yet to be written or perhaps were written and lost to time.
To her, this is not unusual. To you... it may raise several questions.

When you mount up, Lyra initiates the PWNY Protocol.The Mech-Steed: A futuristic horse companion with integrated headlamps for night scouting.

- Warning: Do not attempt to commandeer Lyra’s personal unit. She... objects.
- PWNY Awareness: The player has their own mount and Lyra will react when you deploy PWNY. (Lyra's mount is named Mech)
- Uber Mount: PWNY is an indestructible mount with infinite stamina. Finally a mount that can assist you in survival mode when you don't fast travel. The best part is Lyra has her own mount so she can accompany you properly as well.

How long does it take to make a mod like this?
Temporal Analysis: Even across timelines, excellence refuses to be rushed. A project of this magnitude typically takes over a year, powered by an experienced crew of eleven brilliant minds.
Lyra's actor creation began on March 28th, 2025 (Toto Outfit, Destin Actor, Clockwork Tot Inner Workings, Ichirou and I scripting, everyone listed custom stuff). We finished this up in August.
PWNY creation began August (Otaar and Clockwork Tot)
Line writing began March 30th, 2025 (God daughter and I). We are still writing.
Voicing by PeachyNinja began on August 4th, 2025. We are still voicing.
Testing is a constant process thanks to the team.

Is she an ESPFE?
Affirmative. Lyra is the most Advanced ESPFE Follower. We value your load order space. Lyra is light on the slots but heavy on the personality. I wish all followers were like this.
Can Lyra Dual Wield Other Weapons?
Confirming Combat Capabilities: Lyra is indeed capable of dual wielding any weapon. She is not limited to just magicka sabers. This is highly reocmmended if you feel Lyra is a bit overpowered. Be advised, her damage system makes her sometimes unable to strike back at times. This is part of her design as a "Glass Cannon."
Her damage system "glitches" her in combat!
Error Detected: User Confusion. Lyra is not biological; she is a high-precision machine. When her integrity is compromised, she malfunctions. This is by design. If you dent a race car, it doesn't "buff out" mid-race. While humans get an adrenaline rush when wounded, Lyra suffers mechanical degradation. It’s not a bug; it’s a hardware failure. It also balances the magicka sabers. She is the embodiment of the term "Glass Cannon."
Is this compatible with [Insert Mod Here]?
Scan Complete: Lyra is built to be an anomaly that plays well with others. She is should be compatible with everything. She is good with BHUNP and 3BA. She does have some glitches with OBody though for some reason. How is that possible, her skin is true armor (with an armor bonus and uses the armor slots in game (Feet, Hands, Body).
Due to this she is incompatible also with armor mods. For now, what you see is what she can wear.
Why is her inner workings skinny?
History Log: We started with a terminator as the base and removed a bunch of the meshes because of clipping. It was a long process to build something that will fit inside the skin and be able to handle all the various animations people will do. Doing a battlesuit skin armor would be substantially easier than this but I wanted a fully functional damage system first.
Why does she use a Green Lightsaber and have Blue eyes?
Accessing Forbidden Knowledge: A green lightsaber in Star Wars represents wisdom, harmony, and a deep, spiritual connection to the Force. For Lyra, the force is very old and is the connection of Aetherius (Postiive) and the Dreamsleeve (Negative). She pretty much has a cosmic circuit going on.
The blue eyes comes from the color of Aetherium. That lovely blue which is the same color as her core (Animo Core) or her "Pneuma" if you use Wheels of Lull. I use core as that is a bit easier for translators.
Why does she call me Captain?
Dialogue Log: Captain suits you. Plus, it's way more fun shouting 'Incoming, Captain!' than 'Hey, person I barely know who has unclear tactical authority!" Many players also don't do the main quest and dislike calling the player Dragonborn. So I like to do something more immersive.
Will you do banter with Vanilla Followers?
Accessing Archives: There is a Lyra Ex Machina page for banter via seperate patches for followers. This is done to save disk space and enhance your game. We value system performance. Currently, Aela and Lyra have banter.
Why does she keep taking her boots and gloves off?
Behavioral Glitch: That’s just Lyra. She operates on her own logic. Maybe she’s channeling her inner Disney Princess, or maybe she just hates 4th Era footwear. It is part of her charm!
Can you make it so Lyra will put on a Jacket when cold?
Existing System: In body slide uncheck the Zap Jacket box for her jacket. She puts it on when raining and snowing.
Will Lyra get an outfit system because she uses armor in a different slot?
Development Log: Absolutely. Lyra’s unique equipment slot requires a custom-built outfit system, currently in development. She’ll soon have access to a curated wardrobe of futuristic outfits. Each one designed to complement her Aetherite body and 5th Era origins.
Is she compatible with NSFW / People of Culture Mods?
Yes she is and if you use mods that impact her belly because of stuff if you have OBody use the Petite or Atheletic option and she will be good to go.
What actually happens in Blackreach?
[DATA REDACTED]:I’m not spoiling the surprise. Let’s just say Lyra’s reaction to the "Big Blue Underground" is the most comprehensive (and possibly unhinged) response ever coded into a follower. Go down there and find out.
Is she a Disney Princess?
Visual Analysis: She’s got the look, the songs (via Blinky), and the attitude. If "Princess of the 5th Era Apocalypse" is a category, then yes, she’s wearing the crown. Look in images to see a funny image. Although in the past..... whoops, sorry, no spoilers! Read the book and then get the Eye of Magnus to the College of WInterhold to understand more.
Does she have Hidden Scenes?
Input Detected: Yes. Lyra has specialized subroutines for:
- The College of Winterhold: Specifically when the Eye of Magnus is active in the Hall of the Elements. There are consequences for scanning the Eye of Magnus.
- Dimhollow Crypt: A unique interaction occurs if you bring her along before you release Serana from her tomb.
- Blackreach: If you don't take her to the glowing underground mushroom kingdom, you’re missing out on 100+ lines of specialized (and hilarious) environmental data.
- Paarthurnax: It is a scene basically of Lyra being amazed by Paarthurnax.
Does the Dev need more caffeine?
