Skyrim’s rugged landscapes deserve faces to match. I’ve always felt that the men of the North needed a touch more character, which is why I’ve embarked on a mission to eventually overhaul every male NPC in the game with my own custom designs.
This release marks a major milestone in that journey, introducing 183 uniquely handcrafted men from the Helgen starting zone, Riverwood and Whiterun, Falkreath Hold, Rorikstead and Riften. Keep your eyes peeled as you travel—you’ll certainly spot a few others beginning to pop up in the further reaches of the province as the project grows.
My Philosophy: Respecting the Craft
When it comes to modding, I do things a little differently. Many replacers choose to "bundle" or embed assets from other creators directly into their mods. While convenient, I believe in supporting the incredibly talented artists who make our modding community possible.
By listing essential assets as requirements rather than embedding them, I ensure that the original creators receive the downloads, endorsements, and recognition they’ve earned. I’ve worked hard to keep this requirement list as lean and performance-friendly as possible, ensuring you get a high-quality visual overhaul without a bloated load order.

I intend to update this mod with more batches of characters - adding around 50 at a time - so please keep an eye out for updates. I may start a Women of Skyrim mod too, but there are SO MANY great female replacers I'm not sure yet...maybe.

It will use the textures that you have installed, such as skin, so they could look different to the images.
I use BnP Skins , with the 2k normals provided by Miggyluv's Tempered Faces for BnP Bodies, but these are optional.
Instructions
To ensure the best experience and avoid the dreaded "dark face" bug, please follow these guidelines:
- SkyPatcher Support: I have included a SkyPatcher file within the main mod. While it isn’t a strict requirement (the game will simply ignore it if the plugin isn't present), I highly recommend using it for better integration.
- Load Order: Ensure that Miggyluvs Men of Skyrim.esp loads AFTER any other NPC replacers you have installed.
- Overwrite Rules: Ensure this mod's files overwrite any other mods affecting character visuals in your mod manager.
- Patches: I have provided patches for BUVARP, USSEP, AI Overhaul, Cities of the North: Falkreath, and Cities of the North: Falkreath + AI Overhaul. To maintain stability and visual consistency, these must be loaded after the main mod. I suggest the following load order:

- USSEP Patch
