A snow chest fix for users of SMIM and texture mods
I use SMIM and noticed my snow chests looked funky, weird.
Others have reported it as well.
Turns out, some mods that need to load after SMIM cause this problem.
This mod is two-fold: one file or the other will help you. You can install both.
The main esp file simply copies the texture set record of SMIM. Load it late in your order if something is overwriting the record and you can't figure out what it is.
I've included an optional file that is the SMIM mesh and my version of the SMIM snow chest texture. If everything seems proper, and your chests still look wrong, having this mesh and texture in place may fix it. You can also use if it you want a more snowy looking chest. No esp file.
You can use both files together.
Instructions
Main file: Load after SMIM, any SMIM patches, or other mods that touch snow chests.
The mesh/texture file option can be loaded after SMIM, or any texture replacer to insure you have the SMIM mesh and a SMIM-compatible texture in place.
SMIM-SnowChestFix
Load after SMIM and any mods that add chests. Cleaned and ESL.
SMIM-SnowChestMeshTexture
SMIM mesh and my version of the SMIM texture. Use to insure SMIM files are in place. Or, if you want a more snowy chest. No esp.
