Grants the ability to change the unremovable scopes from weapons like Ol' Reliable, Lexington X-MOD2, Breakthrough, Borzaya, Overwatch, O'Five, Sparky, Ambition, Headsman.
Installation
- Read the "Notes" and "Each weapon's/scope's behavior" sections of the description.
- Download and install Cyber Engine Tweaks.
- Download the mod. You should get a zip file.
- Put the contents of the zip in your game's folder.
- Should look like this: \Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\RemoveUnremovableScopes
Each weapon's/scope's behavior
Removing Lexington's scope gets you a No Name Long Scope.
Removing Ol' Reliable scope nukes it out of existence lol. Like legit banished into the shadow realm.
Removing O'Five's scope gets you a No Name Short Scope.
Removing Overwatch's scope gets you a No Name Misc scope.
Removing Breakthrough's scope gets you a Gaki scope.
Removing Borzaya's scope nukes it out of existence lol. Like legit banished into the shadow realm.
Removing Nekomata's scope gets you a E305 Prospecta scope.
Removing Sparky's scope gets you a No Name Short Scope.
There's a chance they give different scopes depending on the weapon's rarity or something like that.
Notes
If you want to report a bug, equip the problematic weapon, hold it in your hands and put this in CET's console and press the Enter button:
print(GetPlayer():GetWeaponRight():GetItemID().id.value)
It will print the name of the weapon's preset, something like "Items.Preset_Something". Copy paste this name into your comment/bug report. Credits to psiberx for the code snippet.

If you can't remove a scope ("Action Blocked") you just need to equip a different scope and you'll be able to unequip it. Or you can install my mod Unlocked Attachments - Update 2.0 PL - CET or Item Modification Unlocker.
If you don't want to install these mods then you need to install the optional addon file so that you can actually equip the weapons with scopes lol. It just makes their scopes slots able to be equipped with every scope type (short, long, sniper, etc.)
Since some of these scopes are dummy parts, they won't work if you equip them on other weapons, but some of them will. For example, you can remove Breakthrough's Gaki and equip it on other weapons, but it probably won't work on them. As far as I can tell these are just dummy scopes that tell the scope part of the weapon model to appear.
