Let’s be honest—the escort ships from the Dargonus colony projects are a bit underwhelming. This mod gives them modest improvements so they actually have a role in the game, without trivializing or overshadowing space battles.
Upgrades include:
Both escorts gain a basic armor module and improved shields.
The Frigate gets a second pair of macrocannons.
The Destroyer swaps its torpedo launchers for the dual dorsal cannon found on the pirate variant.
And just for fun: the escorts are no longer mutually exclusive—you can field both if you’d like.
