Real talk: the heretic Lord Captain is kind of a schmuck. They cozy up to Chaos with barely a hand-wave of “descent into corruption” and spend the rest of it groveling like a second-rate sycophant. This is supposed to be one of the most powerful people in the Expanse—shouldn’t there at least be a hint of an epic fall?
This mod tweaks things to make their turn to Chaos feel more like a bargain than a capitulation. Dialogue has been rewritten and expanded to give the Lord Captain ambition, arrogance, and the drive that Chaos would exploit. It’s still not a complete reimagining, but it’s a lot more satisfying and makes far more sense than the default version.
