Overview

Armory of the Dragon cult is a really cool mod that provides unique rewards for defeating dragon priests. Dragon priests will drop enchanted robes that you can then take to a forge to upgrade with their respective material.

This is a really neat concept and it is obvious that there was a lot of hard work put into making the mod. I wanted to provide some restrictions while preserving the idea of giving a cool reward for defeating the dragon priests.

  • Includes support for the main module, the standalone version, and the Wyrmstooth addon.
  • Changes mentioned affect all priests' gear with the exception of Miraak's, which has been left alone.

Changes

  • Armor upgrades are locked behind the dragon smithing perk:

  • All robes were upgradable to armors by using their respective material and were not locked behind any smithing perk requirements. Since the upgraded armored variants were dragon level armors I locked them behind the dragon smithing perk.

  • Enchantments are removed from the robes/armors:

  • My preference is simply that the robes should be a nice unique aesthetic bonus for defeating a priest, while the mask provides the enchantment reward. Therefore, the enchantments have been removed from the armor pieces and robes.

  • Armor/Robe set bonuses are removed:

  • In addition to having access to the enchantments, having 4 pieces of dragon priest armor/robes provided a set bonus of 25% increase in shout power and 50% shout cooldown duration on top of the other enchantments. This has been removed.

  • Dragon priest gloves/boots drops are no longer dragon level:

  • Before, all boots and gloves dropped by dragon priests were at dragon level armor ratings. The following changes have been made to alter this behavior:

  • All gloves and boots have been changed to clothing items and given 0 armor rating.
  • Weights have been decreased.
  • New recipes have been added to go along with the robe upgrades. You can now upgrade the gloves/boots to armored variants just like you would with the robes.

F.A.Q.

Q: Why would you nerf these robes and armors?

A: Because I want to adjust things to fit with my setup, and I figured I would share the changes for others if they want them

Q: Does this support the Wyrmstooth and Standalone versions?

A: Yes
