To be honest, I wasn't too happy about the implementation of this mod, it was just another 'craft the new items in-game' implementation. I wanted it to be part of the game, and to exist outside of the player's influence, outside of crafting menus.
But I always hesitate when it comes to editing LevelLists, there are many mods out there which do that already, and each would be a conflict, with it's own patch, which is something I want to avoid.
This version just does that, with the magic of SPID Now every female draugr has a small chance to wear the items. Yes. Wear. Not just in their inventory, around their neck, on their fingers. Now the items can be part of the game, not just inside crafting menus. And all that without touching LevelLists, so the incompatibilities should be minimal, if there are any at this point.
This mod adds several jewellery pieces to the game in my 'ancient nord' theme. Those are:
- a circlet
- two belly piercings
- earrings
- two amulets
- a ring (for left and right hand)
What's new?
- Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) is a hard requirement now
- Added some items to the mix, rings, amulets, etc. Please see the screenshots.
- The circlet is now also available for Argonians and Khajiit
- With the exception of the earrings, all items are available for male and female characters
- Earrings are now fully integrated
- Changed all crafting options, except those that alter items, e.g., circlets for different hairstyles. Now you are able to melt down the items you find and get an "Ancient Nord Alloy". This can be done at any smelter. The alloy can then be used to craft the items at the skyforge if you have the perk 'Advanced Armours'. So if someone is unlucky with the drops, all you have to do is grind a bit (I hope that's fair enough).
- Models for female draugr: Every female draugr has a small chance to wear one of the items (or several). The change is set by the distribution INI It is set at a chance of around 2-5% by default, to keep them special. If you want to tinker around, do so. Your game, your rules.
- Additional NPC distribution. Each item type (amulet, ring, earrings, etc.) can be distributed to any NPC if you want to, I curated some NPCs by default, but mostly just to have an example for those who want to tinker around themselves
- An optional file for Immersive Icons, which requires KID
not that I am aware of any.
DON'T UPDATE TO THIS VERSION FROM AN OLDER VERSION! Deactivate your old version, load the game, make a new save and then update to version 2.0! The IDs have changed, you'll risk corrupting your savegame!
The draugr items are made for the vanilla draugr model; they may be misaligned if you use a mod with another model (If you have such an issue, please let me know, and I might add a patch for it later)
Thanks to the integration via SPID, it is very lightweight and should not interfere with any mods (unless they do the same thing, equipping jewellery pieces to female draugr)
run fomod
use Bodyslide to create the models!!!! Don't like it that it requires Bodyslide? Then don't use this mod!
