Introduces 3 new followers with non-vanilla voices and 224 custom lines each: Brynhild (Nord); Catrice (Breton); and Sebinna (Breton).
This mod introduces three new shieldmaidens ready to join you on your adventures...
Brynhild is a strong Nord mercenary that can be found lounging around Ivarstead. She's taking a well-deserved break from her typical duties but could be convinced to accompany you... if the price is right.
Catrice is a Breton warrior who's found herself stuck in the Understone Keep kitchen in Markarth. This is no suitable location for a fierce Breton warrior such as herself. She is more than willing to escape the confines of the kitchen before she does something she will regret to current residents of the keep.
Sebinna is a Breton rogue currently employed in the Treasury House in Markarth, but she's realized that tangling with the Silver-Bloods might be more trouble than it's worth. She is looking for a way out of the drudgery of money mongers and paperwork; an adventurer like you will do just fine.
These followers each have 224 conditional idle comments they will make as you journey with them in addition to all the lines from the Simply Open Source Voice Pack. They are also marriage candidates with non-vanilla spouse voices enabled by this pack. Brynhild uses the Kimber voice, Catrice uses Paxti, and Sebinna uses Lilia.
This is as simple a mod as can be. Just install it with your mod manager of choice. Don't forget to get the requirements!
- There is clipping around their mouths. Try installing Expressive Facial Animations as recommended in the requirements.
- They are not in the expected locations! Each of the ladies will not stay in exactly the same place at all hours of the day. Try the taverns/inns. In Ivarstead, Brynhild might be chopping wood or sitting on the edges of the town. In Markarth, try the town entrance as well as the Hag's Cure.
- Why AI? (a) There are enough vanilla-voiced characters out there. (b) It takes significantly more effort to coordinate voice work, so we're taking advantage of the already created voice pack. It's not perfect, but we're satisfied. If you're not, then feel free to move along.
- Quest/Idle comments? These ladies have 224 idle comments apiece. No quest integration (yet?).
- They don't look like the screenshots! Check the Notes section below.
- Low poly replacer? Vanilla hair? Permissions are open for making your own replacer. Be the change you wish to see in the world.
- Are the plugins light? Yes.
- Are there conflicts? There should not be any conflicts, although if a mod makes significant changes to Ivarstead or Markarth (such as entirely new cells), there's a chance one or more of the ladies might not be where you expect to find them. If you get a complaint about overwrites with FECKOFF, let the scripts provided by FECKOFF win.
These followers use your installed bodies and skins. I will not provide custom bodies or skins as these massively inflate the mod size and commonly have rigid stipulations about permissions.
