GGMods is celebrating its Grand Launch with the Spring Madness Modathon, a month-long event built to spotlight the modders who make this community what it is. Whether you have been modding for years or have a project in your back pocket waiting for the right moment, this is it.
Five games. Four themed weeks. Weekly cash and gift-card prizes. And a $1,000 grand prize for the most-downloaded mod in each participating game.
What is a Modathon?
A Modathon is a time-bound modding event. Pick a participating game, build something, and ship it during the event window. Anything you decide to make and upload during the set period of time is eligible. There is no requirement to follow a specific weekly theme to enter for the main prizes.

Prizes
- Weekly cash prize: $100 USD per game per week, judged by our panel.
- Weekly gift-card prize: $50 USD Steam gift card per game per week, awarded to the most-downloaded eligible mod.
- Grand prize: $1,000 USD per game, awarded to the most-downloaded eligible mod over the full event.
Total prize pool across the five games and four weeks: $8,000 USD.

Weekly Themes
Optional flair, with theme-of-the-week recognition. Following a theme is not required to be eligible for the main prizes.
Farming Season (April 13 – 20)
Growth, harvest, and farming mechanics.
Monster Mayhem (April 20 – 27)
New enemies, boss fights, combat encounters, and romance options.
Spring Cleaning (April 27 – May 4)
Quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and spring-themed content.
Fae and Folklore (May 4 – 11)
Folklore, mythological creatures, and legend.
FAQ
- Do mods have to be new?
- Yes. Submissions must be the mod's first public release during the event window. Mods you have worked on before the event are eligible as long as they have not been previously published. Mirrors and reuploads are not eligible.
- Are multiple submissions allowed?
- Yes. You may submit as many eligible mods as you like during the event.
- Are collaborations allowed?
- Yes. Collaborators should be credited on the mod page. The prize is delivered to the uploader who distributes the mod; how it is shared internally is up to the team.
- Can generative AI be used?
- No. AI-generated content is not allowed in Modathon submissions.
- Are NSFW mods eligible to win prizes?
- Yes, provided they are correctly tagged under our Adult Content Guidelines.
