Before installing the mod, please try the following steps first:

Open Oblivion.ini and Oblivion_default.ini located in OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData
Replace bGeneralSubtitles=0 with bGeneralSubtitles=1

if not affected, try this mod.

Instructions

drop .esp file in "OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data" open Plugins.txt and add "SubtitleFix.esp" line
