It was irksome to me that if you kill the Delinquent Mercenary at the end of Due in Full, you don't get the Solace gun you get if you payoff his debts. Once you know about the gun, the inability to loot it off him fells extremely unimmersive. I simply added the (leveled) gun in his inventory so if you kill him you get to loot it off of him.
The plugin is marked as a small master and only contains overwrites to a single record (0026ed50) so the conflict surface should be minimal and the plugin shouldn't take up space in your load order. In the event there is some issue unforseen, I have also included the .esp file as an optional download so someone may tweak/fix my work.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU INSTALL THIS PLUGIN ON A NEW GAME. To quote robertgk2017 "Modding is illegal post character start (or in starfield's case a unity jump" You might be able to get away with it if you haven't entered the cell yet but this is neither recommended nor supported. Q: I put this on a game in progress and it didn't work. Elp
A: Activate the Delinquent Mercenary (click on him) in the console such that it says "NPC" at the top of the console. If it doesn't scroll the mouse wheel until it says NPC. Then type "resetinventory" into the console and press enter. This will cause his inventory to reset and pull his equipment from this plugin into your save instead of whatever was preexisting.
Q: Doesn't this make an exploit where you can pay off his debts and kill him and get two guns?
A: It does. Just use some self restraint, or don't its a single player game and I'm not your dad.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: My primary reason for making tweaks like these is personal use but if I can make it quickly or you can convince me I need it for myself, I'll consider it.
Q: You haven't had any recent activity on GGmods and I need to get a hold of you, how can I do that?
A: @ChickenMike in either Ryn, or Janquel's discords and I should see it. I'm also in a bunch of other discords, but I check those two the most regularly.
Q: Have you abandoned Skyrim modding?
A: No. I just was playing Starfield and wanted this to exist. Skyrim will resume as usual. In fact modding Starfield is more complicated than Skyrim and I don't like it.
