This mod adds an immersive doorbell sound effect to Pierre’s General Store and Heaps Convenience Store. The sound only triggers during business hours (typically 9 AM – 5 PM) and remains silent on days the stores are closed.


Variety: Includes four unique sounds that vary in pitch, similar to vanilla sound effects.

Compatibility: If the Community Center is completed, the bell correctly triggers on Wednesdays at Pierre’s.

Logic: The sound will not play if entering from Caroline’s Sunroom or the Heaps’ second floor.

Customization: Volume is tied to the "Sounds" slider. Pitch variation can be disabled via the Generic Mod Config Menu.


Technical Details

To ensure the bells remain atmospheric rather than annoying, the audio underwent specific processing:


Spatial Depth: A slight stereo delay was applied using the Haas effect to create a natural sense of space.

Clarity: Sounds were processed with a dynamic resonance suppressor to remove harsh frequencies.

Inspiration: This concept is a tribute to the "Store Entrance Chimes" mod for Morrowind.
