DESCRIPTION
ㅤ
Uses Positional Audio to playback animal sounds where you would expect to hear them.
Includes Marnie's Ranch, Blooming Hill Farm, Nightingale Orchard, and Stardew Valley Fair.
The intention is for you to hear the animal sounds from the distance, or if you happen to be close.
All of the sound files have been normalized for loudness and play through the appropriate channels.
Sounds have been made louder and more frequent for this video.

FREQUENTLY ANTICIPATED QUESTION
ㅤ
Q. Why are there audio files in this mod? Aren't these vanilla? Is Dylan James stupid?
A. Vanilla sound cues are inconsistent and very often bugged (demonic cow sounds). These replacement files are under 1MB and resampled to match the game. It's not the solution I wanted to go with, but acceptable for 99% of people. Also, yeah.
Q. Sometimes I don't hear the sounds! Why is that?
A. Animal sounds have a random cooldown up to 6 or 8 seconds to prevent repetition. They may occasionally fail to play for reasons out of our control. I can adjust the frequency in the future based on player feedback. The current balance works well for now.
ㅤ
TECHNICAL
ㅤ
The animal sounds do not play after 20:00 when they are determined to fall asleep.
Likewise, they will not play during the winter season, as they are not outdoors.
Sounds variations were done through resampling and not using an time-stretch algorithm.
This is how the game handles pitch-shifting. You are slowing or speeding up the sound.
