ABOUT


Wild Haven is a new custom farm (not a replacer!) that was created to accommodate all the new custom buildings and animals that I like to use. You start with two mature fruits trees: Cherry and Orange. Read the Compatibility section as those fruit trees can change depending on what mods you have installed!



Features:

- Tillable grass

- Functional stepping stones

- Berry bushes

- Bundles

- Crystals that teleport you around the farm (unlocked with the bundles)

- Starting with two mature fruit trees

- Some blue grass in the animal areas

- Different starter gift (10 strawberry seeds and a preserve jar)

- Fish and forage


Since this farm does not replace a vanilla farm, you can select it on the right side when creating a new save! If you're switching mid-save with Easy Farm Switcher, you will be able to select it then as well. However, I highly recommend starting on a new save, but switching mid-save should be fine as well if you use EFS!

CONFIGURATION


The config.json will appear after launching the game with the mod installed at least once. However, I highly recommend using Generic Mod Config Menu instead of manually configuring the mod.


- Change Starter Gift: Changes the starter gift to one preserve jar and 10 strawberry seeds. Choose BEFORE creating a new save to take effect. Defaults to true.

- Disable Right Fences: Disables the fences and decor on the right side. Defaults to false.

- Disable Center Fences: Disables the fences and decor in the center, below the heart field. Defaults to false.

- Disable Left Fences: Disables the fences and decor on the left side. Defaults to false.

- Allow Fruit Tree Changes: Allows the type of the fruit trees to change based on what mods you have installed. If set to true, you will start with different trees when Wildflour's Atelier Goods or Rose and the Alchemist are installed. If set to false, you will always have the Cherry and Orange trees. Choose BEFORE creating a new save to take effect.


I have no plans to add any more configuration to this mod. You're welcome to suggest things, but keep in mind that this mod was tailored to my play style first and foremost, so suggestions may not be implemented. However, you can make your own personal edits as needed, I have no issues with that :]

BUNDLES


There are 7 bundles to complete including the main/starting bundle. The bundles are located in a secret cave on the map. Each bundles unlocks a warp crystal. You are free to unlock them in whatever order you prefer.


Hint for the location of the bundles:


Hint: Modders (It's me, I'm modders) enjoying hiding things behind a specific terrain feature.


DISCLAIMER: If you do NOT want to do the bundles but still want the network available, you can interact with the bundle (have its menu open), and type "ub Purchase" (without the quotations marks) into the SMAPI console. This will instantly complete the bundle and unlock the respective crystal the next day. I don't have plans currently to add a config option to disable the bundles.

COMPATIBILITY


This mod should be compatible with everything, including ALL map recolors. I personally use VPR, which is why you see it in the screenshots. If you're a fan of Earthy or other recolors updated for 1.6, you should be okay!


Additionally, this farm map has a fun integration with Wildflour's Atelier Goods and Rose and the Alchemist if you have them installed.


Without WAG or RatA: You get 1 Cherry tree and 1 Orange tree.

With WAG only: You get 1 Lemon tree and 1 Almond tree.

With RatA only: You get 1 Coral Fungus tree and 1 Sparkling Agaric tree.

With BOTH WAG and RatA: You get 1 Almond tree and 1 Coral Fungus tree.



Translations:

There's very little to translate in this mod, but if you're interested in doing so, go ahead :] You don't need to ask for permission and you CAN upload it as its own separate mod if you'd like since this mod uses i18n. Make sure NOT to upload the entire mod, just the translated i18n.

  1. Install SMAPI and follow its installation steps
  2. Install Content Patcher
  3. Install Unlockable Bundles
  4. Install this mod
  5. Unzip Content Patcher, Unlockable Bundles, and this mod into your Mods folder
