⚙️ Configuration Options
All settings are available in the REFramework UI under Auto Element.
Enabled- Turns the mod on or off. When disabled, your weapon’s original element is immediately restored.
Change element per part- Description: “Change the weapon's element based on the specific monster part hit, rather than the monster as a whole.”
- Enabled: Best element is chosen for each individual hit location.
- Disabled: Best element is calculated using the monster’s overall weaknesses.
Change weapon base element- Description: “Having this enabled will change the weapon's base element, which means it will show in the equipment and particles. Disabling this will instead change the attack info on hit, which means the new element won't be visible, but will still affect damage.”
- Enabled: Weapon element, UI, and visual effects update.
- Disabled: Element is applied only to damage calculation (no visual change).
Only change if weapon has element- Description: “Only change the element of weapons that already have an element.”
- Enabled: Raw (non-elemental) weapons are ignored.
- Disabled: Raw weapons may be converted to elemental.
Don't replace status effects- Description: “If the weapon currently has a status effect (e.g. poison), do not replace it with an element.”
- Enabled: Status weapons (Poison, Paralysis, etc.) are preserved.
- Disabled: Status effects may be replaced with elemental damage.
