Play with subtitles disabled? Have to turn them on when talking to certain NPCs like Christine or ED-E because communication is otherwise impossible? Then AIDS is for you!
AIDS (Aid Interpreting Dialog Signals) is just a tiny mod that enables subtitles for those characters who do not communicate verbally, instead relying on text cues to convey their supposed signals, so you can play with subtitles otherwise disabled.
Doubles as a framework, and you can easily create patches for any mod just by adding an aux var to the relevant characters. An example file is provided.
