Well, hunt no more. Scattered about the Fallout New Vegas Universe, from The Sierra Madre to Zion to the Big Empty to Hopeville are self paying repair anvils.
Using your Repair Skill, you can now repair any weapon or armor item simply by paying yourself for the work.
The Repair Anvil will launch the Repair Menu, where the player can pay themselves the price of a repair, basically making the repairs free. Just make sure you have the caps on hand to make the repairs.
