Overview:
This mod changes all of the typewriters in the game to manually activated save points.There are two versions:One in which no resources are consumed, and one that requires Ink Ribbons to save.Neither file provides any other restrictions on saving in any way.Mod-added placements of the regular typewriter static will all be swapped.
There is also an optional, gorgeous typewriter replacer available, made by SomethingInTheWay.
It's geometry is a little bit different, which will result in some placements looking a little off sometimes.
Requirements:
Installation:
If you want the version with no Ink Ribbons, download V1 in the Old Files section.
Optionally, install the Fancy Typewriter Model. Standard texture resolution is 1k.
Optionally, install the 2k or 4k Typewriter textures. The Fancy Typewriter Model download is still required to use these textures.
Install the main file.
Optionally, install the Fancy Typewriter Model. Standard texture resolution is 1k.

Optionally, install the DMT Ink Ribbon patch. All this patch does is switch the typewriters that don't use Ink Ribbons in DMT to use this mod's version that does require Ink Ribbons.

Sweet Mod Interactions:
This mod is split off from DMT's save typewriter function. There are a handful of placements throughout Dead Money in that mod, but there will be no issue using this file alongside DMT. The save points will be presented in exactly the same way, so you can seamlessly use this with DMT to have typewriter save placements throughout the whole game.

This small file will replace the DMT typewriter with the version that uses the Ink Ribbons.
