Overview:
This is a reworked plugin for Skill Bonus Misc Items.
Features:
Reworked integration - items can now be found at TTW vendors, TTW item values are balanced properly for 3.3+, some items have been renamed, and most importantly, the bonuses no longer stack. If you have a higher tier repair item for instance, having the weaker repair item no longer grants a buff, and it should be sold. There is also no longer a pop up mentioning that the bonus was added; I trust that you can remember that you added skill items to the world and don't need a reminder of what they do.
Items are still only found at vendors, and not in the world. Unfortunately, due to the contents of the junk and loot leveled lists, I can't make them possible to find in world without them being much, much too common. You will likely now come across the items less often than in the original mod, but at a broader range of vendors.
Highly recommended for those who've reduced the skill points per level in their build. The TTW item values are fairly expensive; semi-permanent skill buffs, even for some inventory weight, are very strong.
Requirements:
Skill Bonus Misc Items is required for the assets.
Installation:
Install the original file.
Delete or hide its esp.
Install this file.
Patches:
I don't plan to patch for FNC or The Frontier, cause I don't use them.
Compatibility:
Compatible with TTW 3.3
Limitations:
Unfortunately, due to the contents of the junk and loot leveled lists, I can't make them possible to find in world without them being much, much too common.
The workaround would involve adding chanced leveled lists for the items to tons of containers directly, which would be very tedious.
Questions:
Permissions were open, why not reupload the assets?
Cause there's no need to. GhilleAttano deserves the downloads and traffic.
Can I switch from the other version to this one mid-save?
No.
Upcoming Versions:
I would love for this to include reworked textures for the barter and science books and/or the surgery kit if anyone would like to do so.
