Description:
The fire barrels in New Vegas are horrendous FPS eaters, especially if you use a mod like Desert Natural Weathers which doubles their light radius. This mod just disables all the barrels in Freeside for a pretty big performance gain, even on my decent PC. Obviously removes a lot of atmosphere from the area but I figure it may be worth it to either people on low-end PCs or people who play at 144hz. Compatible with any mods that open Freeside.
Instructions
Install as normal with mod manager.
