Description:
The vanilla game has options for changing expressions and animations per dialogue line. The system is used sparingly in vanilla, but FNV Gameplay Overhaul (FNVGO) by trashgarbage666 is the first mod I've seen utilize and expand upon this feature. It creates for some very fresh and interesting experiences when listening to dialogue that you've heard a million times. I was inspired by (and included, with permission) these changes and expanded to around 1000 lines of dialogue.
Features:
- NPCs will play an animation in dialogue when giving the player an item
- NPCs will play an animation in dialogue when taking an item from the player
- NPCs will play various other animations during apt dialogue lines (e.g. pointing, putting hands up, etc.)
- NPCs will have stronger facial animations based on the emotion of their dialogue line (Anger, Disgust, Fear, Pained, Sad, and Surprised)
There are probably tens of thousands of dialogue options in this game, so everything is not covered yet. Let me know if there's anything in specific you want to see covered.
Compatibility:
- Brave New World is compatible, just make sure it overwrites this mod
Instructions
Install as normal. Check for conflicts in xEdit and adjust load order accordingly.
