Description:
As the starter of the unfortunate JSawyer fork trend, I figure its time to finish it. Agua Fria provides the most configurable and compatible JSawyer experience available, with in-depth configuration options, automatic compatibility for many popular mods, smart scripting to not silently override other mod's changes, and a high level of polish and optimization.
For those unfamiliar with what the original JSawyer mod is, it is a design mod made by the lead developer of the game, Josh Sawyer, in which he included many changes he wished to see in the base game but were cut or changed for one reason or another. The original mod's changelog is available here.
This mod makes other forks like Vigor or Lone Star redundant. JSawyer Ultimate Edition is still a good alternative if you like the additional gameplay changes it makes and don't mind making patches.
Fixes:
Agua Fria comes with all of the bug fixes and improvements to base JSawyer that you've come to expect. YUP fixes have been forwarded, JSawyer changes have been expanded to logical areas, and oversights within the original mod have been fixed.
Configuration:
Agua Fria features a in-depth Mod Configuration Menu thanks to MCM Extender . Many of JSawyer's original features can be fully tweaked, ranging from the health/carry weight formulas, level cap, equipment stats, and so much more.
Compatibility:
Agua Fria aims to be compatible out-of-the-box with many popular mods. Agua Fria is completely compatible with Viva New Vegas out-of-the-box without any external patching.
Agua Fria has automatic patching and needs to be loaded AFTER Goodies.
Automatic patching also supplied for Supplemental Ammo Crafting, Just Assorted Mods (or the standalone mods), and Better Brotherhood (or any other mods that change Veronica's 10mm Pistol to a Laser Pistol. Load order does not matter for these.
Instructions
Install with mod manager as normal. Load order should not matter, but it is always recommended to use xEdit to determine any necessary conflict resolution or load order adjustments.
