Better Hacking Mod

Description:

Better Hacking offers an Outer Worlds-esque alternative to the hacking mini-game. A new item, called a Password Bypass, has been distributed into leveled lists and can be found in the same places as Bobby Pins. With a Password Bypass in your inventory, you can unlock any locked terminal, using up the bypass in the process, by hitting the configured hotkey (default E on keyboard, RS Down on controller). When using a Bypass, you do not gain any XP.

By default, you still need the equivalent Science skill for the lock level to be able to use the Bypass, but this behavior can be configured in the Mod Configuration Menu or provided INI file.

You can also configure the key for using the Bypass. If the key is set to the same key as your Activate key, the Bypass will take priority over the vanilla mini-game.
