Creatures Spawn at Corpses (ESPless)



Description:

Dead bodies attract scavenging creatures after being dead for a while. Different creatures spawn depending on where you are - rats in the wasteland, radroaches in tunnels, mantises in Zion.






Features:

  1. Location-based creatures: Each worldspace has its own creature pool with configurable spawn weights
  2. TTW compatible: Full support for Capital Wasteland, DC ruins, The Pitt, Point Lookout, and all FO3 DLC worldspaces
  3. Random spawn amounts: 1-3 creatures per corpse by default
  4. Small creature filter: No spawning on radroach/mole rat corpses
  5. Spawn cooldown: 3 hour delay between spawns to prevent spam
  6. One corpse per cell: Won't overrun areas with creatures
  7. Despawn timer: Creatures disappear after 30 seconds by default
  8. Worldspace exclusions: No spawns in simulations (Tranquility Lane, Operation Anchorage)
  9. Fully configurable: All timers, chances, and creature weights adjustable via INI




Default Creature Spawns:

  1. Mojave Wasteland: Coyotes, giant rats, radroaches
  2. Capital Wasteland: Mole rats, radroaches, giant rats
  3. DC Ruins: Giant rats, radroaches, mole rats
  4. Zion Canyon: Giant mantises, geckos, giant rats
  5. Lonesome Road: Tunnelers, radroaches
  6. Big MT: Lobotomites, robo-scorpions
  7. The Pitt: Trogs, radroaches
  8. Point Lookout: Swamplurks, mirelurks




Configuration:



Use the MCM or edit Config/CreatureSpawner.ini



iMinCreatures/iMaxCreatures: How many spawn per corpse (1-3)
iCreatureDespawnTime: Seconds before despawn (30, or 0 to disable)
fMinTimeDeadHours: Hours corpse must be dead first (10)
iSpawnChance: Spawn chance percentage (50)
fGlobalSpawnCooldownHours: Hours between any spawns (3)
bSpawnOnRobots: Whether to spawn on robot corpses (0)




Customizing Creature Spawns:

Edit INI files in Config/WorldspaceSpawnings/ to change which creatures spawn where. Each creature has a weight value - higher weights mean more likely to spawn.

How it works:

When you enter a cell, the mod checks if enough time has passed since the last spawn. It scans for corpses, ignores small creatures like radroaches, and rolls the dice on spawn chance. If successful, creatures appear on one qualifying corpse and the cooldown timer starts ticking.



The creatures will automatically disappear though, so the wasteland won't suddenly be full of creatures.
