Inspired by the mad genius Psychor but remade using some more NVSE plugins, may I present to you CLIMBING!

Scale any object up to a height dependent on your agility level. Can't climb with super low agility or broken limbs.

To climb, ensure you are holding forwards AND jump. Ensure you have no broken limbs. Even at low agility you should climb a bit.

Now includesa basic climbing animation in first person only Perhaps some esteemed animator such Hitman or rockbiter will see this and take pity on me for 3rd person animations? Or just good ones?!

This is a full remake of the original mod as an ESPless scriptrunner, with harsher penalties for low agility. If you have 1 agility, you won't be able to climb on much. At 10 agility, you'll basically be spiderman. It now has been completely rewritten, has a basic animation, new custom sounds and configurability options.

The video should summarise (note in the console I am adapting the player's agility constantly). The video doesn't include the optional animation, which can be turned off at any point.

New Features:

Fully configurable via Climbing.ini - adjust climb speed, delays, and thresholds

Custom climbing sounds with proper timing

Movement detection - only climb when stationary against surfaces

Enhanced safety checks - prevents climbing when overencumbered or with crippled limbs

First-person climbing animation - plays when you actually gain height while climbing

Smart animation system - only triggers after meaningful climbing progress (10+ units of height)

Animation cooldown - prevents animation spam with 5-second cooldown between climbs

• Contact check - the original could actually make you climb in the air under certain circumstances. Now, we check the player is at least in contact with something physical to avoid this.

INI Configuration Summary

Climbing.ini Settings:

• fClimbSpeed (0.5-10.0, default: 2.5) - Base climbing speed in units per frame
• fHoldDelay (0.05-1.0, default: 0.15) - Delay before climbing starts after input
• fMaxClimbTime (0.05-2.0, default: 0.1) - Base maximum climb duration
• fAgilityMultiplier (0.0-0.5, default: 0.12857) - How much agility extends climb time
• fMovementThreshold (1.0-10.0, default: 3.5) - Movement detection sensitivity
• fSoundDelay (0.0-0.5, default: 0.09) - Delay before climbing sounds start
• bAnimationEnabled (0/1, default: 1) - Enable/disable climbing animations

Higher agility = longer climb duration. At 10 agility, you get ~1.26 seconds of climb time vs 0.1 seconds at 1 agility.
