Overview

Fast travel like a king, swooping down like some kind of turd ejected from a seagull's anus.



Features

  1. Camera Descent - Camera starts high above your destination and smoothly descends with eased animation. 10,000 units by default but can be changed
  2. Dynamic Camera Rotation - Camera begins looking straight down, then gradually rotates to match your character's facing direction as you land
  3. Whoosh Sound Effect - Immersive audio accompanies your descent
  4. Crosshair Suppression - Both vanilla and JDC crosshairs are hidden during the cinematic
  5. Input Lockout - Fire and Pip-Boy inputs are suppressed until landing to prevent accidental actions
  6. Hostile Bailout - Cinematic cancels immediately if hostiles are detected nearby, returning control to you
  7. Skip On Demand - Press fire to skip the cinematic at any time. Should suppress your fire too.
  8. Exterior Only - Only triggers outdoors




Configuration

All settings are configurable via INI file.

fStartHeight

Camera starting height above the player in units.

  1. Range: 1000 - 25000
  2. Default: 10000
  3. Higher values = longer, more dramatic descent




fMinTravelDistance

Minimum distance you must travel for the cinematic to trigger.

  1. Range: 1 - 32000
  2. Default: 3000
  3. Set higher to only trigger on longer journeys
  4. Set to 0 to disable




fCooldown

Seconds between cinematics.

  1. Range: 1 - 999
  2. Default: 300 (in seconds, five minutes)
  3. Prevents cinematic fatigue on rapid travel




fHostileCheckDistance

Radius to scan for hostile compass targets on arrival.

  1. Range: 1 - 32000
  2. Default: 3000 (units)
  3. If hostiles detected within range, cinematic aborts and returns control immediately


bEnableOnLoad

Run after loading a save

  1. 0 off, 1 on
  2. Default: 1
  3. If hostiles detected within range, cinematic aborts and returns control immediately
  4. Runs only ONCE per session
