The Mojave Cartography and Infrastructure Project is a map-spanning level design overhaul made to vastly improve the aesthetic and accuracy of Fallout New Vegas' Mojave Wasteland. Taking inspiration from real-world geography, architecture, and design while marrying it with Fallout's unique lore and setting, MCIP aims to bring the worldspace up to par with the quality of the rest of the game.
The El Dorado desert is a vast stretch of land spanning between Searchlight and Boulder City. While Novac and Repconn have no real-world equivalents, Obsidian took creative liberty in placing a town and space facility in the middle of this desert. In the vanilla game, the area feels claustrophobic, under-designed, and linear. Far from representative of how the space looks and feels in the real world. Spanning over 50 cells, this mod will level fictional mountains, add a handful of new locations, and overhaul all the playable space surrounding Novac and Repconn. Vanilla balancing, lore, and gameplay have all been accounted for, ensuring all existing loot is retained while any new additions are adequately balanced around existing gameplay elements. Newly added and edited areas are fully navmeshed and cleaned, ensuring as much compatibility and stability as possible with a mod this size. Enjoy a never-before seen Mojave experience, with level-design that begs to be explored and an open expanse with new things to see.

Experiencing floating objects, missing objects, terrain bugs, landscape seams, lowpoly landscapes, pop-in or more? Please ensure that you're following the installation below, and regenerating your LOD. Be aware that this mod will present issues in saves that have already visited the affected cells. Keep in mind conflicts may occur, and verify if the issue you're having is because another mod touches one of the affected cells.
Has been cleaned with xEdit and FNVToolkit - xEdit Script.
Due to the nature of MCIP and sweeping edits made to the surrounding areas, you can expect patches to be required for any other mods that make significant changes to the affected cells. Anything worldspace related in this area will very likely need to be patched.
Incompatible - Ranger Station Charlie - MCIP: This mod is currently incompatible with this MCIP module, as there are plans to merge the two together. Once this occurs, RS Charlie will be taken down and hosted within this mod.
Incompatible - Repconn Facility Fix: This mod is incorporated in this one.
