This simple mod allows the player to terminate conversations quickly and efficiently using a key press, mouse click or controller press.
While mods that do something similar to this already exist, they come with several unique problems, this implementation seeks to solve these:
1) Current mods currently just close all menus, in this mod the NPC will always play their "Goodbye" line
2) Issues that arise from using the CAM command from other mods are not present (Missing sounds, Missing weapon models, Quiet radio)
3) "Say-Once" dialogues will not be skipped, meaning no quests will be broken (100% safe)
4) .ini configurable, the key-bind / controller-bind can be changed to any DirectX scan code as required.
5) Gamepad / Controller support
5) TTW Support
One caveat of this implementation is that if a "Goodbye" option is not currently available (I.e. visible on the UI), the bottommost option is selected in its place. As such it may be necessary to press the key-bind more than once in certain circumstances. This prevents broken quests and ensures conversations are ended safely.
You can use this mod alongside Stewie's Tweaks "Dialogue Number Hotkeys" feature to enjoy the configurability & multiple hotkeys of this mod with numbered navigation.
