One of the more forgotten features in the Mojave is directly tied to the player character's canon backstory - that of the courier. Throughout the Mojave the player can discover Dropboxes that allow him or her to ship items to other locations. Although an interesting concept - the vanilla implementation is crude and highly situational in a normal playthrough. You'd be forgiven, if like me - you had never used it or even knew it existed.

This mod seeks to overhaul the above system and replace it with something far more interesting, useful & integrated into the Mojave:

1. The default system has been replaced by a universal storage system, meaning you can access your items from any Mojave Express Dropbox.
2. Visiting a Core (Vanilla) Dropbox for the first time gives the courier a moment to consider their surroundings and journey, this further grounds the Mojave Express as a part of the narrative. Visiting all boxes will signify the end of a period of reflection for the courier and you will be rewarded with a unique perk.
3. Additionally you must unlock each core Dropbox by purchasing an Authorisation Stamp from the box itself. This adds a sense of progression to the system.
4. Doubling down on the idea of progression, the as core boxes are unlocked, the Mojave express will expand further into the wastes and build new Dropboxes which they provide to the player free of charge to the courier.
5. Mojave Express Couriers and Brahmin patrol the Mojave
6. Although a small feature: If the Nashes die or are killed by the player, the Mojave Express will cease to function. Items can however be recovered from Primm. This adds a sense of consequence to the system.
7. Finally, the universal storage system has limited capacity - although this can be upgraded for a fee up to a maximum value set by the player.

One of the crowning features of this mod is the fact that as the player travels to and unlocks the vanilla Dropboxes, the Mojave Express will expand further into the wastes. New boxes will be built after purchasing 3 of 5 stamps and for purchasing the 5th and final stamp. The following map shows the locations where the Express will expand into.

I have tried to keep to occupied and neutral settlements and avoid legion territory for lore reasons. The first expansion the company focuses on is better serving the central belt and far south of the Mojave Desert. The second largely on linking the City of Vegas together in a more coherent manner.

The aim of this mod is to better integrate the Mojave Express and It's Dropboxes with the Gameworld and the story of the Courier. This mod comes with the following features and adjustments:

1. Adds a new universal storage system to the Mojave!
2. Fully customisable
3. Mojave Couriers and Brahmin traverse the Mojave making deliveries.
4. Unlockable Dropboxes
5. Mojave Express Expands as the purchases access to boxes
6. Unique perk reward for discovering all Mojave Express Dropboxes
7. Lore told through visiting Mojave Express Dropboxes
8. Adds an upgradable maximum capacity for Dropboxes
9. Consequences for killing the Nashes (Dropbox deliveries will no longer occur)
10. In the event of the Express shutting down - items can be recovered from primm.
11. Highly compatible with other mods
12. Cleaned & handpolished in FnvEdit

The following section covers installation of this mod, it's a fairly simple affair as far as mods go but please read this section carefully and follow all the below instructions.

Before proceeding, check you have satisfied the following requirements: (Mandatory)

1. Fallout: New Vegas up to date
2. You are using a genuine copy of Fallout: New Vegas
3. JIP, JG, ShowOff & xNVSE Installed
4. Your preferred mod manager is up to date and ready to go!

Once you are happy that you at least satisfy the above minimum requirements, install with preferred mod manager.

Optionally install the "Simple Open Freeside" patch, loading it after FreepostMojave.esm & SimpleOpenFreeside.esm

Optionally install the "No Sleep Till Goodsprings" patch, loading it after FreepostMojave.esm & NoSleepTillGoodsprings.esp

If using "The great Mojave Interior Overahaul" load FreepostMojave.esm after TGMIO.esm
