Alternative Icons features replacement icons that are:

1. A totally new design of Perk icons
2. Restoration Work that restores Cut (mostly FO3) Icons
3. reimagining of the classic (FO1-FO2) design of an icon
4. "Bethesdafication" of Vault Boy that turns Vault Boy from the Obsidian Design to Bethesda's design.
5. A simple number change (21 to 101, or 101 to 21) to an existing Icon

Recommendation List based on CPI PATCH 4.2:

2. Chemist (Just because it is more interesting)
3. Kamikaze (Vanilla CPI variant needs more work)
4. Heave Ho! (Either 101 or 21) (Because that's the icon it was supposed to have, but AFAIK Obsidian did not have enough time to make it)
5. Stonewall (You choose!)(Vanilla CPI variant needs more work)
6. Slayer (Vanilla CPI variant needs more work)
7. Center of Mass (Vanilla CPI variant needs more work)
8. Skilled (Vanilla CPI variant needs more work)
