
Adds a realistic and well-scattered forest of overgrown mushrooms to the Glowing Sea. The Glowing Sea is a rather bland region, with little visual appeal beyond the constant apocalyptic setting. This mod will make the region feel a little more alien, with more scenes to see while exploring. Over 3500 mushrooms have been hand-placed in the region just dense enough to alter the environment, but not so clustered that they're overbearing. These mushrooms only grow on muddy, wet patches of land, as well as highly irradiated zones. The Glowing Sea is a very moist region, with plenty of decay, and tons of radiation. Mutated mushrooms seem somewhat logical given these circumstances. These mushrooms are also grounded in that they're native to Boston and can be used as psychedelics or food sources. Shroom textures are packaged in 4K. The shrooms are mostly beige-topped, with brown-topped ones being found nearer to debris. Glowing mushrooms are often at the center of high radiation zones, with white mushrooms forming a ring around them.

Instructions

Simply drag and drop the contents of the mod into your data folder, and enable with the mod manager of your choice. Alternatively, download using a mod manager such as MO2 or Vortex. For LOD, either use the pre-made package or generate your own using xLodGen.
