Description

This mod is a complete rebuild of the Automatron workbench for VR. It uses the system from the original fix on nexus however nothing from the original fix exists within this mod. This mod has been fully rebuilt and includes the Nuka world DLC bot parts and requirements.



Whats Included

For the most detailed information please watch the video below in full. The mod as it stands currently includes the following:


  1. Bot parts, weapons, and skills all require components and skills equal to the components and skills required to make the equivalent vanilla part
  2. All weapons, bot parts, armors, and skills that exist in the vanilla DLC are included in the mod to include the Nuka World DLC components
  3. Build menu is smart and will detect what bot parts are installed and will populate the menu with the appropriate bot parts based on what is installed
  4. The vanilla Automatron build sound will play every time a bot part is created
  5. A image of the bot that is being created will be available to view before creating the part
  6. Bot parts are named correctly based on their in game name i.e. bot part Wasteland10 will display as Warmonger (same as vanilla)
  7. Bot paints are fully implemented
  8. A new Automatron Workbench mesh was created by me with a appropriate power attachment point


Rules to build a bot:

First you must select "Create New Autoamtron" at this time the terminal build menu will function near identically to the vanilla workbench. You MUST have the build components on you not in the workbench - as in build components. Microscopes are not build components. you need the actual raw aluminum etc on you, those are the build components. Additionally If trying to change a bot part on a existing bot after building additional bots you MUST install a modification chip into the bot you want to modify and select "Initiate Modification Sequence". Without selecting Initiate Modification sequence the "Smart Menu" will populate the menu based on the previous bot build which might confuse you and lock you from building bot parts you need or want to build.



Whats Not Included

  1. Random names for created bots (planned future update)
  2. Modification parts build bot parts (planned future update - also note to self add bleed effect to Mr handy)
  3. Replaced bot parts do not give the player a bot modification component
  4. Armor doesn't require components or skill to create all armor is implemented but is free (everything else requires skills and components)
  5. You must rebuild arms, legs, etc to change weapons or armor on a existing bot that you want to go back and modify if you have since created additional bots

Same as the other main file in every way but has raident quest wild edits deleted out of it that MarkyRocks original created. I believe these edits are wild edits and need to be deleted please tell me if you encounter a problem. I have not tested this however.
