This mod will replace Fallout 4's suite of font files with smaller and more compact alternatives while leaning into the game's aesthetic. At its core, it replaces the main UI font with a monospaced font similar to the older titles. It also replaces handwritten, terminal, and command console fonts with suitably compact and readable alternatives. While the changes this mod offers are largely subjective, the goal is to provide readable and out-of-the-way fonts that fit into the game universe. The vanilla fonts are rather large, taking up a good amount of screen space. In addition to their cumbersome size, they are unoriginal and unconvincing regarding the atmosphere of Fallout. This mod hopefully strikes a balance that others will enjoy as well.
Some other UI mods I suggest using alongside this:

This mod was tested on a 16:9 display but should work on other aspect ratios. This mod
is not compatible with any other mod that replaces the 'fonts_en.swf' or 'fonts_console.swf' files and will not work with other languages. Compatibility with DEF_UI or Fall_UI is unknown as I do not use either of those mods, but
users are welcome to make a patch if issues occur.

All of the fonts included in this mod were not made by me, but are either public domain or have a Creative Commons license that renders them open to use.
