Give your camp in Origins more life during your campaign.
Experience party banter as actual cutscenes.
This mod has 15 playable scenes for your Warden (in camp) centered around Zevran's party banter that you normally hear while traveling.
You don't need The Stone Prisoner DLC or to recruit Shale to use this.
If you don't have Shale as a companion, all that happens is that Shale's banter scene won't appear on the list.
The cutscenes are friendly and flirty, typical Zevran chatting with your other companions.
Some scenes are the same banter you hear when you're running around in the game, and some are ones I've spliced together from multiple dialogues or a combination of two or three conversations. See instructions for more information on how to use the mod.
All the audio files in the scenes were recreated from extracted game audio.
Audio files for party banter are at a lower volume than regular dialogue conversations.
Because of this I had to create new sound files and facial animations for the dialogues.
All lines were animated individually with FaceFX in the toolset so everyone shows emotions when they talk.
Sometimes certain animations created with FaceFX look exaggerated.
I've tweaked and adjusted the most obvious ones.
Just be aware everything is not precisely the same volume.
This is because I made all these scenes at different times over a period of multiple years.
I've worked to adjust and tweak the best I can. I think it sounds fine but it may also depend on your audio settings in game.
Tweak as needed.
Instructions
Download file and install using the daupdater.exe tool packaged with Dragon Age: Origins. The tool can be found in \Dragon Age\bin_ship folder.
To play the mod, find the "Spicy Antivan Poetry" book in camp. Images has a screenshot of where it is in camp. It won't appear until you recruit Zevran and develop a relationship with him.
Scenes will be unlocked as you collect your companions and get them into a "Warm" relationship with you. However, for Sten, you must be at "Friendly" with him for his scenes to show up.
A few scenes require multiple companions, so they won't appear on the playable list until all of your companions have been recruited.
When you right-click on the book you'll get a menu listing each companion. Click on the companion you want to see.
If there is an available Zevran scene for that companion, it will appear on the list. Your Warden is in a few as an observer.
There's at least one banter cutscene for every companion, including your mabari and Shale (if you have the DLC).
