This is a modification and upgrade to nickheggo's Bullet Casings Redone
UBC 2.0 Universal UPDATE
The new script works by first setting the casing models for companion weapons, since they use a special ammo type. Then it compiles all the weapons that are loaded in a game session and verifies that A, the weapon form is valid, and B, that the ammo form for the weapon is also valid. Then the script checks the ammo list of the weapon currently being processed and sets the appropriate casing based on the ammo list.
So unfortunately, any mods that change the EditorID of the ammo lists will be incompatible. Also any mod that adds new ammo lists will not have not have custom casings for those new ammo lists. Another note is that some shotguns have their shells as part of the weapon model and the ejected shell casings will not be changed. There is nothing we can do about that.
Additionally, casings have been modified to represent their IRL size. 22LR is much smaller than 9mm, 9mm is slightly smaller than 45, etc.
New 40mm and 25mm grenade shells have also been added!
UBC 1.05 UPDATE
The 20 gauge is now slightly smaller and a proper yellow color in order to represent its size & appearance in real life.
- Includes additional custom textures and meshes made for the calibers missed in the original (9mm, 12ga, 20ga, 22LR, 12.7mm, 357)
- Every weapon of every caliber type has their own custom textures and meshes now (44, 38, 12.7mm, 5mm, 556, 308, etc.)
- That's it, just amazing looking bullet casings!
The original mod is still required for the majority of textures and several meshes.
