Description

This is a handmade pbr of the various ebony armors and weapons in Skyrim (including CC content!). Because it uses vanilla paths, any armors or mods that use the vanilla ebony texture paths, or covered CC content texture paths, will also get patched when running PG.

The body armor textures & normals are in 4k, other textures and normals are 2k, rmaos textures are 1/2 size of the texture they are for.

The original Dragon Claw textures are 256x256, I did my best with what I had to work with and brought the Ebony Claw up to 2k textures like the other items included.

Also, let me know if I missed anything or if there is any ebony themed items you'd like to see added. Depending on permissions, if a mod needs matching ebony pbr textures then I'm happy to eventually make this into a hub for conversions of those as well.

As always, if you have any feedback or encounter any issues, please feel free to leave a comment! :)

Requirements

  1. Community Shaders
  2. PGPatcher

Recommended Mods

  1. Ebony Armors and Weapons Retexture SE - **Only** for the fixed female gauntlet mesh and the change to make the brawlers gauntlets use the vanilla paths. Without this fix, the blades on the gauntlets will not be properly patched. Not required though, if you don't mind the mismatch.
  2. Ebony Valkyrie - PBR - Addi did a PBR for the non-ebony textures of this armor set. Combined with this mod (or any other mod that covers ebony textures) means it'll have full pbr.
  3. HDT-SMP Vanilla Ebony Armor and Ebony Mail Patches or HDT-SMP Vanilla Armors - if you want SMP.
  4. Remiros' Ebony Blade HD - uses vanilla texture paths & uv's, will be properly patched for pbr if installed.
  5. Vanaheimr - Ore Veins - Complex Material - PBR - optional patch file here so you can have the better ingot mesh with my ebony texture.

Installation

  1. Install the required mods.
  2. Install this mod normally through your mod manager.
  3. Run PGPatcher.
  4. Install the output.

Credits

  1. CaBaL120 for the armor & shield textures and normals I used as a base.
  2. xavbio for the material masks, made the process of creating the pbr textures much easier.
  3. Polyhaven and AmbientCG, where I got some of the resources that were used in the making of this.
