Vanilla Map Menu has 2 major issues - aggressive vignette and oversized details widgets (time/date, active quest, zoom slider, icon filter).
This mod tweaks it to make map clear and info widgets readable. You won't need to hide them on every Map Menu call to see the map.
Mod also makes markers 25% smaller to prevent their cluttering on the map and increases default local map zoom, to let you see the bigger picture without panning all the time.
