I recommend using a Mod Manager like MO2 or Vortex.
After installation, a new message will pop up, informing you of the process of adding the new ships to the spawns. Please wait until the second message pop-up before heading out!
If you install manually:
- Download and unpack the file
- Place DWN_CommunitySpaceshipExpansion - Main.ba2 and DWN_CommunitySpaceshipExpansion.esm into your Starfield/Data folder
- Start the game, head to the Creations menu and activate the mod under Load Order
