Instructions
1. Install the latest version of SMAPI .
2. Install the latest version of Content Patcher .
3. Extract into your \Stardew Valley\Mods\ folder.
4. Run the game through SMAPI to generate a config.json, then close.
5. Open the config.json with a program like Notepad and use the images in the References folder to enable the turtle colors you want. All colors are enabled by default. You can also choose to change the adoption price, which is 60,000G by default (like the vanilla turtles). If you can't get a config.json to generate, you can rename the example_config.json to config.json and use it instead.
6. Run the game using SMAPI to play with your new companions!
7. (Optional) If you'd like to put hats on your new friends, you must also install Hats on Pets Plus.
Turtles, like other pets, are available for adoption from Marnie once you've maximized your friendship with your starting pet.
