AI Personalities

This mod builds out NPC personalities giving certain mods of mine and any other modders who want to leverage it a consistent and flexible framework to expand NPC decision making.

This mod is still a work in progress as I study research articles to accurately calculate personality traits based on the Big Five model. It builds on existing traits and applies a Box-Muller transform to create a realistic distribution of personalities across Calradia.

Conscientiousness
Agreeableness
Extroversion
Emotional Stability

Ambition (Contentedness)
Courage (Cowardliness)
Reformer - this is used in policy decisions, weighting their preference towards cultural and kingdom norms.


I will eventually add an article with an API reference, in the meantime if any other authors are interested just hit me up on discord.

I made it a standalone mod, because I don't want any of my other mods to be a requirement for any of the others.
