DC Metropolis attempts to double-down on the heavily urbanized aesthetic of Fallout 3's rendition of DC, all while correcting some layout discrepancies. Inspired by older, heavier mods such as DC Skyscrapers, this one varies in the way that it primarily uses background buildings and cascading LOD to sell the illusion of a dense urban environment all the while making very few changes to the overall worldspace. In addition to background buildings, some structures have been replaced with alternative architecture sets to diversify the wasteland. "What about DC's building height restrictions" I hear you say. First and foremost this is a video-game, and secondly in much of the concept art, promotional material, and to a degree the game itself these supposed real life height codes are broken. If you take issue with this real-world discrepancy, this may not be the kind of mod you're looking for to enhance your DC ruins. This is an all-in-one overhaul for Fallout 3's urban environments, in an ultimately unobtrusive and lore friendly way.
