GGMods Patch Notes: 1.0

Welcome to the new face of GGMods! Patch notes from release, to this latest version with all the new changes.

By HimeTarts · SEPTEMBER 10, 2026

Welcome to GGMods! We’re so happy to finally have you here.

As some of you know, for the past several months, we’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on something we’ve been incredibly excited to share with you: The website you see today! This marks the beginning of a new chapter for GGMods, and we’re thrilled to finally open the doors and let you see what we’ve been working on.

At its heart, GGMods has always been about one thing: modding and the people who make it special. We believe in the creativity, passion, and sheer love for the craft that goes into every mod, and we want to build a place that celebrates that. From the authors who create these things, to the people who download, play, share, discover, and support them.

There are many exciting plans for GGMods in the weeks and months ahead. The plan is to keep growing alongside the community, listening to what you need, and creating a platform that genuinely feels like it was made for both authors and users. There’s a lot more to come, but what you’re seeing today is only the foundation we’ll be building on.

Below, we’ve put together a look at some of the biggest changes and improvements that have made their way into GGMods. There’s plenty more already in the works, too, and you’ll start seeing those changes roll out over the coming weeks. If you’d like to follow along as we build, join us on Discord! Where we share live patch notes and updates there as new features and improvements ship, one by one:
