Animated Greetings

Animated Greetings adds atmospheric greeting animations to NPCs. The animations are played when the player activates an NPC that doesn't have dialogue or when the NPC makes a greeting.

Many of the animations are tied to faction reputation. As reputation improves, NPCs will show their respect and gratitude to the player in their own way. Commoners will bow, NCR troops will salute, and Legionaries will put their fist up and may even kneel, etc. And since the animations are played automatically on many NPCs, the player can simply move around and watch NPCs react to them, adding to the another layer of depth and immersion to the reactiveness of the world and non-verbal storytelling.

A number of the animations are from the base game, but there are many brand new ones as well. Some of the new ones can be seen in the previews below.

NCR Salute

At Liked or Good Natured Rascal with the NCR - used by NCR combatants.

Bow

At Liked or Good Natured Rascal with the settlement - used by various settlers.

Legion Salute

At Liked or Good Natured Rascal with Caesar's Legion - used by Legion members.

Legion Kneel

At Idolized with Caesar's Legion - used by all lower ranked Legionaries.

Respect

At Liked or Good Natured Rascal with Great Khans or Powder Gangers - used by Great Khans and Powder Gangers.

Hat Tip

Used by any NPC that wears a cowboy hat.

Chin Flick

Used by the Omertas.

Installation

Install all requirements. Load order doesn't matter. Can be installed mid-game. No ESP.

How To Config

Use MCM Extender or manually edit "Animated Greetings\Config\AG_Config.ini".
