This mod is made with Compatibility in mind.

Gore Dismember and Explode Edits fixes the odd behavior of limbs exploding/decapitating, when they shouldn't …or should. For example, in the vanilla game if you hit someone with a blunt weapon, like a Dress Cane, the body part explodes. This also makes automatic guns not decapitate limbs. Spears also do not make limbs explode—like in the vanilla game.

The rule of thumb is this:

-Dismember: lasers, melee cutting weapons

-Explode: high powered and heavy caliber weapons, plasma and tesla weapons, heavy blunt weapons, power fists

-Neither: small cutting and blunt weapons, small caliber pistols, medium powered rifles
